About Me

in 1994 after dropping off our middle daughter, Denise, at Old Dominion University in Virginia. We fell in love with the area and the laid-back lifestyle of Brunswick County. Holden Beach is lies between the Lockwood Folly Inlet on the east and the Shallotte River Inlet on the west. The Intracoastal Waterway is on the north and the Atlantic Ocean on the south. Holden Beach’s warm sandy shores extend almost 11 miles from tip to tip! We especially loved the warm, friendly southern hospitality and knew immediately that this was a place we could live. We built our first house with Coastal Construction and vacationed here as much as possible!  
 

         In addition to Denise, we have another daughter Kiersten, and a son Sean. Kiersten and Brendan Gordon were married on May 22, 2004 and Brendan has joined our company as vice president of The Mortgage Company and Kiersten who is an attorney has recently opened her own law firm, The Gordon Law Firm on Holden Beach Road.  Our son, Sean, graduated from UNC Pembroke in May 2004 and is currently employed in the restaurant business. Our Daughter, Denise, has also relocated to the area and has opened a clothing boutique in Ocean Isle Beach, Chloe & Lola.  She is in the located 15 925-7 Seaside Rd., in the Piggly Wiggly shopping center.  What a joy to have all of our children here with us!
